Virtual Passage is a sail simulator navigation system tied to a global daily weather data set. It is shipped in an 8x10 box (box front below) which contains two CDs with the Virtual Passage simulation system and five years of global weather data and a full color users manual. Because of the size of the system and volume of data we offer the following sample voyage instead of a regular demo.
The following sample voyage from the Chesapeake to Bermuda was constructed from Virtual Passage screens. Annotations describing the voyage, explaining the screens, options and the use of the weather data are added as yellow text boxes. Go to the next screen using the yellow buttons at the bottom of the page.
Before starting the voyage we would like to get your name and email. Virtual Passage is a new product and we expect to add significant new features within the next year including a real chart navigation system by Force 9. We will use the information to update you on new features. We will not provide this information to any outside group.
